Easter 2013

We woke up to a beautiful, partly cloudy day on Easter Sunday.  Grant was up bright and EARLY to get his basket.  Dad and I actually made him wait because it was r.e.a.l.l.y early, poor kid.  Finally, we let him go through his basket while the girls were still asleep.

The girls eventually made their way down and found their Easter baskets. Johanna first....

(Had to get a picture of the bed head!)

Then Julia...

Afterward, we went to the Easter morning church service with Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Jeff.

When we got home, we had Easter dinner.  The girl's baskets were filled with the eggs we had blown out and painted, and they became (the most important) part of our centerpiece.

After dinner, Dad, Grandpa and Uncle Jeff hid the eggs.  The hunt was on!

They had a lot of fun going through all their eggs and finding what treasures they had collected.  There was candy and money, which is fast becoming Grant's favorite.

We finished out the day by watching The Rise of the Guardians, which Grandma and Grandpa had gotten them for Easter. Other than Grandpa's flat tire, it was a great day!
