One day this week when I was cleaning up after dinner, and Cory was giving the girl's their bath, we heard quite a ruckus on the lake. It turned out that two pairs of geese had landed on the lake at about the same time. Apparently, their wasn't enough room for all of them! The funny part is, we have had a duck swimming around on our lake for the last two weeks, or so, and she came out to see what was going on.
(She's really hard to see with the shadows from the trees, but she is the black spot over by the two geese on the right.)
She swam around with the geese until, eventually, one of the pairs of geese flew off and everything was quite once again.

The next morning we woke up to find the two remaining geese swimming around the pond, with, guess who following? Yep, the little duck. It was pretty funny. Those two geese flew off shortly after that, leaving our little duck on her own once more.
