We arrived at the fair, and took the kids straight to the amusement park.

After the amusement park, we sat down to have lunch. All the kids were proud to hold the prizes they won from the game while we listened to a band and ate.
We also got to watch a very interesting character get up and start dancing.
After that, pig races...
Then we went to the Home Ec building and saw all the prizes that were awarded to different food categories.
We walked around and saw lots of horses, cows and rabbits.
This year there was a sea lion show at the fair. We didn't watch it, but we did walk by and look at the sea lions.
The kids also got to "milk" the cow.
The kids had a blast, but to be honest, the adults just weren't very impressed. We watched a couple shows, and they were pretty boring. The amusement park is super expensive (it would have cost $75 to get all three kids wrist bands for unlimited rides), the food wasn't all that great, and it was hot. I personally said I could go without seeing the visiting the State Fair again for awhile. We did enjoy our dinner on the way home, and decided next year, we'll just make a trip to the restaurant!
