Cory and I attended a small wedding on Saturday in a very old church in the very small town of Bellflower. The wedding was a March wedding at 11:00 am simply because the church does not have heating or air conditioning. Luckily, the bride and groom had a beautiful day. The wedding attire had an 1800's theme (with a bit of a medieval/Renaissance Fair look). Also in keeping with the 1800's theme, this was the first wedding I have been to where I could here chickens during the ceremony. I also don't think they use the church very much, because when everybody stood up their bottoms and backs were covered in dust.
The reception was held in the one room community building on main street, and to top it all off, the GROOM made the wedding cake.
