July 4th Weekend in Cedar Rapids

We also had a very busy July 4th weekend in Cedar Rapids while we were visiting Cory's family.  We went to a Birthday party for cousin Brendan, Julia was baptized, we did some hot-tubbing at Grandma and Grandpa Webb's house, the ladies did a little shopping,and we enjoyed a July 4th BBQ.

The kids had a great time at the Birthday party.  They spent a lot of time outside.

They started at the slip-and-slide....(Johanna and Julia opted out of this activity.)

then they moved into the pool....

(Julia got right in there with the boys crazy splashing and playing. Johanna, on the other hand, said it was too wet.)

then they moved onto water balloons...

After they launched water balloons for awhile, they attacked the pinata.

After all the candy had been dumped, we moved inside for cake and presents.

We had a busy, but fun, July 4th weekend.
