Easter Weekend

We were joined by Grandma and Grandpa Hedberg, and Uncle Jeff for our Easter Day celebrations.  We started off eating an Easter lunch of deviled eggs, spinach salad, cream cheese biscuits, ham, asparagus gratin, and funeral potatoes. (I know depressing name, right?)  They were good though!

After eating, the clouds cleared up long enough for the kids to hunt for Easter eggs outside.

 Found It!

 

 

Once all the eggs had been found (and some candy eaten), we came back in for brownies, strawberry cupcakes, and rhubarb custard pie.

We had a great day, and everyone went to bed with full tummies and happy hearts.

On Sunday, the kids went in search of their Easter baskets from the Easter bunny first thing in the morning.

 

After that, we went to church and then enjoyed a quiet day at home.
