Hanging Around

The kids and I went to cut some lilacs off a very old and large bush on our property last week, and as I was cutting, I heard a hissing noise.  I stepped away from the bush thinking there was a snake that didn't like me standing so close, and then I saw this little guy (or gal).

I had to have been right on top of him, and I didn't even see him there. He was only about 3 or 4 inches long, and had tucked himself in for the day.
