Johanna's 6th Birthday

On July 8th, Johanna celebrated her 6th birthday.  As always, she awoke early to find a trail of paper stars leading from her bedroom to her presents. She also found this guy sitting outside her bedroom door(she named this little gorilla Ebony).

She didn't waste any time opening her presents-assisted by her brother and sister.

She requested waffles and bacon for breakfast.

She spent the day playing with her new toys and she requested mac-and-cheese for lunch. I also made her white chocolate cherry cupcakes with white chocolate frosting.  We ate the cupcakes after dinner, and then Johanna requested all of us take a walk around the lake.  We had a nice walk and even stopped by one of our peach trees to pick and eat fresh peaches.  They were delicious!
