13. Blow Bubbles and 25. Make Ice Cream

Last Friday, we had fun with bubbles and making ice cream.  I bought a little bug bubble blower that rolled around the driveway.  The girls had a lot of fun with it, and thought it was pretty funny how it would turn around and go the other way whenever it bumped into anything.

We also had fun just blowing bubbles.

Later on in the afternoon, the kids helped me make "magic" ice cream.  We simply mixed up the ingredients, and then put it in the freezer.  No making a custard base over the stovetop, or ice cream maker required. You gotta love fast and easy when cooking with kids!

We made vanilla, and it turned out really good!  We plan on using it this week to make root beer floats. Yum!
